Geraldine Cavanaugh

Geraldine S. Cavanaugh, age 74 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.  She was born on November 2, 1947 in Coloma to Gerold and Sadie (Bandt) Schliepp.  Geraldine married Jimmy Cavanaugh on September 26, 1970 in Westfield.  She enjoyed dancing, sewing and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Geraldine is survived by her two children, Jennifer (Timmothy) Paukstat, Milwaukee and Jimmy Cavanaugh Jr., Westfield; eight grandchildren, Jimmy III, Serita, Destiny, Jonnathan, Earl, Samara, Abel and Maverick; one great grandson, Jackson; two sisters, Delores (Wendell) Foote and Wanda Klawitter; one brother, Stuart (Debbie) Schliepp; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother in law, Dan Klawitter.

A funeral service for Geraldine will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield with Rev. Hyunmin Lee officiating.  Burial will be in Westfield East Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
