George Ellinger

George H. Ellinger, age 90 of Westfield, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2007 at Harris Villa, Township of Harris. He was born on May 15, 1916 in Westfield, son of the late Otto and Mary (Dewar) Ellinger. George married Lucille M. Esselman on July 26, 1944 in Reno, Nevada. He served his country with the United States Navy during WW II.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille; one son, John (Denise) Ellinger, Montello; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Hada Ellinger, Madison; son in law, Fred (Michelle) Henderson, CA; other relatives and friends. George was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Henderson; one sister and two brothers.
A funeral service for George will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Rev. William Dow officiating. Interment will be in Westfield South Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home. Memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association.
