Frank Rutar

Frank Rutar, age 96 of Westfield/Montello, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Montello Care Center. He was born on March 31, 1916 in Chicago, son of the late Franco and Frances (Lunar) Rutar. Frank proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #8718 of Westfield and a life member of the Carpenters Union. Frank enjoyed living life to the fullest.

Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl Davis, Montello; three grandchildren, Brent Rutar, Frank and Amanda Davis; one great grandson, Karson Davis; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three wives, Loretta, Alice and Esther; son, Frank W. Rutar; 12 brothers and sisters.

A funeral service for Frank will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with full military honors following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Westfield East Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
