Francis Staber

Francis “Frank” Staber, age 82 of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. For the past year, Frank had resided at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. He was born on November 19, 1931 in Allentown, PA to Ludwig and Mary (Volkawich) Staber. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include two sisters, Cecelia Moore, NY and Geraldine Nolte, Westfield; two brothers, Robert, FL and Richard (Lynn), NV; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Georgianne Baker and his brother, Lawrence.

According to Frank’s wishes, no service will be held in Wisconsin. An inurnment graveside service will held at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY at a later date.
