Francis Schalk

Francis “Frank” Schalk, age 82 of Oxford, formerly of West Allis, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Montello Care Center in Montello. He was born on October 4, 1927 in Milwaukee, son of the late Paul and Ruth (Elberfeld) Schalk. Frank married Elaine Gaspardo on July 9, 1949 in West Allis.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Elaine; five children, Katharine Kramer, Judy Schalk, Peter Schalk, Daniel (Sue) Schalk and Paula (Tom) Luba; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers, Fr. Robert Sebastian, Richard (Flo) and Jack (Norma) Schalk; one sister, Ann Rickert; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his son, David; brother, William and sister, Rosemary Lardner.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Brooks. Inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Brooks. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
