Evelyn Ciezadlo

Evelyn M. Ciezadlo, age 79 of Westfield, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 17, 2015 at her home. She was born on December 23, 1935 in Morris, IL to Carl and Helen (Malinowski) Phillips. Evelyn graduated from Antioch High School in Illinois. She married Fred Ciezadlo on July 9, 1967 and in 1979 they renewed their vows. Evelyn loved raising her children, animals and living the country life. She enjoyed gardening, baking, canning and spending time with her family. After raising her family, Evelyn went on to get her CNA license pursuing her career interest in home health and hospice care.

Survivors include seven children, Richard Clapper, Campbellsport, Ron (Lynn) Clapper, Plainfield, Donald (Debbie) Clapper, Westfield, Wayne Clapper, Campbellsport, Fred Ciezadlo II, Westfield, Terry (Tracy) Ciezadlo, Westfield and Tammy (Pat) Hamilton, Westfield; son in law, Joe Briese, Westfield; 15 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Fred on October 13, 2014; daughter, Betty Briese on July 11, 2014; her parents; two brothers, Carl Jr. and Everett Phillips.

A memorial service for Evelyn will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Westfield with Rev. Janet Ruark officiating. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family.
