Eula "Ellie" Filip

Eula “Ellie” Mae Filip, age 70 of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at UW Hospital in Madison.  She was born on February 8, 1951 in Breathitt County, Kentucky to Andy and Dora (Harvey) Miller.  Ellie married Rudolph “Rudy” Filip Jr. on October 23, 1980 in Montello.  She worked at Brakebush Brothers for over 20 years.  Ellie enjoyed gardening, crafting, her dog, her McDonalds family, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Ellie is survived by her two children, Michelle (Craig) Grant and Christopher (Kayla) Filip; four grandchildren, Zackery Peterson, Gavin Grant, Bennett and Andrew Filip; two great grandchildren, Ezme Steege and Nicholas Peterson; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Rudy.

A Celebration of Life for Ellie will be held in the spring of 2022.
