Eric E. Smith

Eric E. Smith, age 57 of Montello, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 20, 2025 at his residence. He was born on November 12, 1967 in Hannibal, Missouri to Robert Lee and Sharon Anne (Olson) Smith. Eric graduated from Monroe City High School in 1986 and from Kemper Military School in 1988. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Eric loved helping people in need. At the time of his death, Eric was working at Kwik Trip in Montello.

Eric is survived by four nieces, three nephews; six great nieces; two great nephews; two aunts and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Russell Smith, David Lee Smith, Michael Todd Smith and his sister, Rebecca Anne Sheldon.
