Elma B. Lee, age 89 of Westfield, formerly of Madison, passed away following a lengthy illness on Friday, September 29, 2006 at Divine Savior Extended Care, Portage. She was born on October 5, 1916 in Township of Packwaukee-Sunny Flats, daughter of the late Leon and Laura (Kruger) Haskins. Elma attended Madison East High School. She worked for Kidder Radio, Madison during WW II and was a proud member of Madison Turner Hall and numerous state volleyball championship teams. On September 24, 1952 Elma married Wayne Lee. She helped in the family business, Lee's Roto-Rooter, Madison for 36 years until her retirement in 1988. Elma and Wayne retired to Lawrence Lake to enjoy a life of fishing, friends, cooking and relaxation.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne; one sister, Lorraine (Philip) Ferstl, Elkhorn and numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Ronald Haskins.
A funeral service for Elma will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Vicar Ron Riemer officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Township of Packwaukee. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
