Elizabeth "Betty" Zuelke

Elizabeth “Betty” J. Zuelke, age 87 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Juliette Manor in Berlin.  She was born on January 30, 1931 in Fond du Lac to George and Anastasia (Lepine) Heiland.  Betty married William R. Scherer on June 16, 1956, he preceded her in death on October 13, 1983.  Betty then married Marvin E. Zuelke on January 30, 1985, he preceded her in death on July 29, 2011.  She worked at Grande Cheese in Fond du Lac for ten years, Winnebago Mental Health Clinic for ten years and started working for Zuelke Trucking in 1984.  Betty enjoyed gardening, flowers, feeding the fish in her pond, road trips and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her three daughters, Mary (Ray) Dinger, Oshkosh, Vicky (Rodney) Jones, Omro and Sue (Rodney Paschke) Scherer, Ripon; two grandchildren, William (Tiffany Gilbert) Laiten and Jennifer (fiancé, Mark Troia) Kent; other relatives and friends.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her two husbands.

A visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Betty will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Westfield with Father Paulraj Sellam officiating.  Burial will be on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
