Eldena Wruck

Eldena A. Wruck, age 85 of Coloma, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Wild Rose Manor, Wild Rose. She was born on May 24, 1923, Township of Springfield, daughter of the late Edward and Tilla (Duesterhoeft) Briese. Eldena married Hugo H. Wruck on December 21, 1950, Township of Springfield, he preceded her in death on August 22, 1992. She loved working at the Coloma Grade School as a custodian with the teachers and all of the children. Eldena enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and friends and always found a way to keep herself active.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Nancy VanBever) Wruck, Coloma; grandson, Kit Wruck, Harrisville; great grandson, Shane Wruck, San Antonio, TX; sister, Esabell Kemnitz, Hancock; two brothers, Gordon Briese, Kenosha and Herbert Briese, Township of Springfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Eldena was preceded in death by a grandson, Alan Wruck; brother, Darwin Briese.
A memorial service for Eldena will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Coloma with Rev. Kelli Fisher officiating. Inurnment will be held in Harrisville Cemetery in the spring. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
