Edward Labrenz

Edward Labrenz, age 87 of Montello (Emery Lake), passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his home.  He was born on December 24, 1935 in Oxford to William and Beatrice (Drew) Labrenz.  Ed proudly served his county in the U.S. Navy.  He married Sherry Taylor on November 18, 1963 in Rio, WI.  Ed worked for Metcalf Muck Farms and Badger Ammunition.  He had a quiet demeanor and a big love for reminiscing about the good ole days and hunting stories, his family, gardening (he was known for his beautiful flowers and keeping his lawn clean), sports and most of all fishing.

Ed is survived by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sherry; brothers, Cecil (Clara and Shirley) and Ronald (Myrna); sister, Margie (Clifford) Mateske.

A graveside inurnment service and full military honors will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Oxford Village Cemetery with Pastor Julie Krahn officiating.
