Dorothy Schrank

Dorothy Mae Schrank, age 90 of Westfield, passed away peacefully in the hands of God on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Montello Care Center.  She was born on January 4, 1929 in Coloma to Walter and Hilda (Powell) Schrank.  Dorothy had a very strong faith and devoted her life to God and helping the needy.  She loved her cats and gardening.

Survivors include her brother, Melvin “Mickey” Schrank; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Schrank and her sister, Irmabelle Ferch.

A funeral service for Dorothy will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield with Father Savio Yerasani officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside “Lawrence” Cemetery, Town of Westfield.  A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

A luncheon for family and friends will be held following the burial.
