Doris Edna Desruisseaux

Doris Edna Desruisseaux, age 93 of Oconomowoc, WI, formerly of Westfield passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Shorehaven Nursing Home in Oconmowoc of natural causes. She was born in Kennan, WI on August 8, 1931 to John and Louise (Kamp) Ahrenholz. Doris married Raymond Desruisseaux on July 15, 1950.

Doris was an Administrative Assistant for her husband’s business, Master Painters. She attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield for many years. Doris was a member of the Harrisville Homemakers Club and was Homemaker of the Year in 2010. She enjoyed woodworking and created the Barney Brat sign for the Harrisville Brat Fest. Doris loved gardening and spending time with her family.

Doris is survived by her two daughters, Sandra (Rick) Bronecki and Carla (Nick) Sanfilippo; five grandchildren, Gregory and Garrett Borden, Michelle (Travis) Beltz, Sarah and Nicholas (Emily) Sanfilippo; three great grandchildren, Lilly, Trevor and Elliot; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Renee Beguhl in 2006; husband of 64 years, Raymond in 2015; sister, Evelyn and two brothers, Henry and Wilmer.

A funeral service for Doris will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield with Rev. Jesse Davis officiating. Burial will be in Harrisville Cemetery, Town of Harris. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be accepted to be donated at the family’s discretion.
