Diane M. Becker, age 76 of Westfield/Coloma, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Care Partners in Stevens Point. She was born on February 27, 1945 in Berlin to Herbert and Lena (Street) Boelke. Diane married Edward Becker on April 24, 1965 in Coloma.
Diane’s working life included cashier at Thermens Grocery in Fond du Lac, line worker at Infant Socks Company and Eden Cheese Factory. She owned/operated the Happy Tap Bar with her husband and waitressed at the Pioneer and Wood Lake Resort.
In high school, she participated in baseball and was a halftime gymnastic flyer with the sports group.
Diane had a great love for her family - she was patient and kind. She loved bowling, the wild escapades Ed took her on, Christmas parties and playing cards with her friends and family. She worked hard her whole life and provided all she could for those she loved. She put up with the hard life of a Wisconsin farmer’s wife for many years, even with her allergies and COPD. Diane raised her kids to work hard and love every gift that was received in life. She provided a strong shoulder to cry on to her sisters. She was a wonderful friend to many people and will be missed by many.
Diane is survived by her two children, Dawn (Norman) Franco and Dale Becker; six grandchildren, Craig (Brieanna), Shanna, Veronica, Angel, Travis and Austin; one great grandson, Logan; one sister, Lila (Dean) Kloiber; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Loraine, Delores and Carrie; her in laws, Emma (Lange) and Robert Becker, Robert Becker Jr., Wilbert Becker, Charles Becker and Lucille (Becker) Klem.
