Denise Peschel

Denise D. Peschel, age 64 of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at UW Hospital in Madison.  She was born on October 7, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Leonard and Marian (Bukala) Dapkus.  Denise married Ken Peschel on March 26, 1977, spending nearly 45 years together and raising three children, Christopher, Nicholas and Dianna.  She has worked at Royal Bank in Oxford for the past 15 years.  Denise has been an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, taking care of her family and most of all being a grandmother.

Denise is survived by her husband, Ken; three children, Christopher (Natashia), Nicholas (Brenda) and Dianna (Mathew) Kronschnabel; eight grandchildren, Nathaniel, Matthew, Hunter, Claire, Amelia, Sawyer, Hannah and Macallister; one great granddaughter, Evangeline; brother, Jim Dapkus; other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; step dad, Jack Bebow; grandparents; uncles and aunt, Richard (Delores) Taber, Leonard (Eleanore) Shereikis and Joan Bukala; father and mother in law, Walter and Hannah Peschel and brother in law, Gary Peschel.

A visitation for Denise will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jesse Davis and Rev. Rodney Armon officiating.  A luncheon will follow the service at church and burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Springfield following the luncheon.
