David Zajda

David James Zajda, age 43 of Roscoe, IL, formerly of Westfield, passed away surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at UW Hospital, Madison. He was born on January 21, 1965 in LaGrange, IL, son of James and Dale (Koerner) Zajda. David graduated from Westfield High School in 1983. He married Theresa Kovach on December 9, 2006 in Las Vegas. David enjoyed swimming, hunting, riding his Harley, but most of all spending time with family and friends, especially his kids.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa; nine children, Brianna and Zachary Zajda, Westfield, Joseph, Christopher, Cecilia, Jacob Kovach, MI, Maria, Stephanie and Jordanne Kovach, Roscoe, IL; his parents, Jim and Dale Zajda, Westfield; two brothers, Mark (Laurie), MI and Allan (Dusty) Zajda, Endeavor; many other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Zajda.
A funeral service for David will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Rev. Michael Richel officiating. Interment will be in Harrisville Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
