David Ruck

David Robert Ruck, age 67 of Oxford, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison.  He was born on November 17, 1952 in Portage to Robert E. and Irene (Gollnick) Ruck.  David graduated from Westfield High School in 1971.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  David lived with a mental illness all of his adult life.

Survivors include his three sisters, Diane Ruck, Oshkosh, Lorraine Ruck, Oxford and Deb (Tom) Rogstad, Omro; one brother, Robert S. Ruck, Black River Falls; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard.

Full military honors for David will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield.  A memorial gathering will follow the military honors until 5:00 p.m. in fellowship hall of Immanuel Lutheran Church.  Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Town of Westfield at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
