Connie Sorenson

Connie J. Sorenson, age 62 of Westfield, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2008 in Westfield. She was born on February 22, 1946 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Conrad and Rosella (Priske) Walters. Connie married Christian Sorenson on April 17, 1982, he preceded her in death on March 20, 1993. She graduated from Westfield High School in 1964. Connie worked at Wisconsin Electric Company, Milwaukee for many years. She moved back to Westfield in 1994 and opened her craft shop “Better Things To Do” and ran it until the present time.
Survivors include her sisters, Louise (Clarence) Widmer, Wildwood, FL and Donna (Richard) Taft, Westfield; nephews, Richard (Muriel) Taft Jr., Cedarburg and Michael (Karen) Taft, Pardeeville; great nephews, Connor, Jacob and Tanner Taft, Pardeeville; special friend, Cal Jacobson, Westfield and other relatives and many friends.
A mass of celebration will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Westfield with Rev. Michael Richel officiating. Inurnment will be in Westfield South Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
