Claire Beutler

Claire “Carrie” Mae Beutler, age 62 of Westfield, passed away on August 6, 2013 at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa. She was born on March 27, 1951 in Wild Rose to Herbert and Lena (Street) Boelke. Carrie graduated from Westfield High School in 1969. She married Dennis Beutler on August 29, 1970 in Coloma. Carrie was very active in entertaining at senior centers as part of the Sunshine Sisters. Her family meant the world to her and her fondest memories were doing things with them. She was a fun soul who loved to laugh, sing, cook, bake, tease and play cards, especially PEANUTS!!! Carrie loved to travel and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Survivors include her two children, Jenny (Dan) Wohlfert, Pardeeville and Brad (Selena) Beutler, Milwaukee; six grandchildren, Daniel and Ava Wohlfert and Addison, Amelia, Oliver and Keaton Beutler; three sisters, Lila (Dean) Kloiber, Diane Becker and Delores (Ray) Zimmerman; close nieces, nephews and her pet dog and constant companion, Diva. Carrie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Loraine Borth, brothers in law, Ron Borth Sr. and Edward Becker.

A funeral service for Carrie will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Rev. Laverne Larson officiating. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, North Leeds, Columbia County on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
