Christine Polacek

Christine Mary Polacek, age 55 of Thiensville, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28th, 2019.  She was born to Ralph and Stella Poshepny on February 21st, 1964. On August 9th, 1986, Chris and Michael Polacek were married and in the years following sons, Spencer and Cody were added to the family. Throughout her life, the two boys, family and children in general were Chris's focus. In addition to raising two fine young men, Chris left her mark on hundreds of children during her many years as a preschool and daycare teacher.  In September of 2018 Chris earned her most cherished title "Mimi" when granddaughter, Payton Polacek entered the world (she would not accept Grandma).

Chris is survived by her husband, Michael; two sons, Spencer (fiancé Alex Murphy) Polacek, Cody (Gabby Raab) Polacek and their daughter, Payton Polacek; father, Ralph (Juanita) Poshepny; siblings, Lynn, Dennis, Jay, and Joy.  Chris is further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.  Chris is preceded in death by her mother, Stella and siblings, Ben, Sharon and Debra.

A Memorial Service for Chris will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield with Rev. Dr. Karl Fabrizius officiating.  A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.  Inurnment will be in Westfield East Cemetery.  A luncheon will be held at the Paul Polacek residence in Westfield following the inurnment.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Budda Box Fight Against Cancer of Marquette County, P.O. Box 91, Westfield, WI 53964.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Libby Montana Bar & Grill, 5616 W. Donges Bay Rd. in Mequon.
