Charles Saunders Jr.

Charles “Charlie” Frederick Saunders Jr., age 68 of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.  He was born on September 14, 1949 in Waterloo, Iowa to Charles Sr. and Wilma (Hauser) Saunders.  Charlie married Cathy Dorman on January 15, 1983.  He worked at Kerschner’s in Coloma for the past 19 years.  Charlie enjoyed traveling, gardening and working on projects at home.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Cathy; two sons, Benjamin and Blake; one grandson, Lucas; mother, Wilma Klemmer; six sisters, Wilma, Helen, Hazel, Nancy, Judy and Norma; two brothers, Bill and Fred; many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Frederick Saunders Sr. and a brother, James.

According to Charlie’s wishes, no service will be held.
