Audrey Zagar

Audrey S. Zagar, age 72 of Fond du Lac, formerly of Montello, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. She was born on April 21, 1935 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Herbert and Viola (Kollath) Daniels. Audrey married Michael F. Zagar on July 10, 1965 in Milwaukee.
Survivors include her husband, Michael; four children, Joseph (Pat) Greenwald, Westfield, Lily (Michael) Thimm, Wisconsin Rapids, Leila Greenwald, Merrill, Michael A. (Kristy) Zagar, Fond du Lac; two step sons, Larry (Kris) Zagar, Wind Lake and Steve (Ginger) Zagar, CA; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great grandson; other relatives and friends. Audrey was preceded in death by her first husband, Al Greenwald; one grandson and two brothers, Herbert and Harold Daniels.
A funeral service for Audrey will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Pastor Luke Emrich officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional service. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to American Lung Association.
