Audrey Ann (Standke) Schrank, age 83 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at UW Hospital in Madison. She was born on September 30, 1936 to Carl and Mable (Mischka) Standke in Neshkoro. Audrey was baptized in Neshkoro and was confirmed April 2, 1950 by Pastor Martin Huebner in Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro. On July 12, 1958, she was united in marriage to Donald Albert Schrank at Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro.
Audrey did day care work from her home for several years. She also worked a few years for the school district of Westfield. Audrey was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield. She was a member of Ladies Evening Circle, LWML, Friends of Immanuel, prayer chain group and VBS.
Audrey collected dolls, snowmen, loved to crochet, cook and bake. No one went hungry at Audrey’s house. She very much enjoyed all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as all the children she cared for.
Survivors include her husband Donald A Schrank; one son, Thomas (Tammy) Schrank of De Pere; two daughters, Sheryl (Scott) Stein of Wauwatosa and Laurie (Michael) Bowers of Oxford; eight grandchildren, Alan (Dorene), Brady & Cordell Schrank, Heather (Jordan) Fish, Jordan Stein, Darnell (Joshiah) Campion, Shania (Lane Grupe) Bowers and Huston Bowers; five great grandchildren, Brayden and Brynlee Campion, Kolton Grupe, Serenity Schrank and Avery Fish; two sisters, Sandra Gohlke of Neshkoro and Marlene (Robert) Tadman of Wautoma; three brothers, Dale (Sandy) Standke of Fall River, Du-Wayne Standke of Neshkoro and Dean (Donna) Standke of Fond Du Lac; one brother-in-law, Robert Schrank of Westfield; many other relatives and friends.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mable Standke; In-laws, Albert and Irene Schrank; two sisters, Jalane Hieland and Rhonda Standke; two brothers-in-law, Tony Hieland and Wilmer Gohlke; one sister-in-law, Mary Schrank and her niece, Debra Neuman.
A private family graveside service will be held at Westfield East Cemetery with Rev. Gary H. Schultz officiating. A public visitation and service will be held in the future at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield.
