Alma "Blondie" Shultis

Alma “Blondie” A. Shultis, age 90 of Coloma, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Tivoli in Portage.  She was born on July 17, 1930 in Evansville, WI to Kenneth and Sarah (Schneider) Dunbar.  Blondie married William Shultis on June 26, 1948.  She was well known for working at East Plaza Grocery Store in Wautoma for 32 years.  Blondie then worked at Dome Structures in Coloma for five years.  She enjoyed nature, camping, flowers and birds.  Blondie loved baking and crocheting for her family and friends.

Survivors include her five sons, Raymond (Elizabeth), Plover, Milton (Rochelle), Ohio, William (Karla), Westfield, Gary (Robin), Coloma and Kevin (Stacy), Montello; 29 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; three sisters, Lilas Miller, Evansville, Bernice Francom, Utah and Bettie King, Colorado; one brother, Wayne Dunbar, Minnesota; other relatives and friends.  Blondie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; son, Marvin “Speedy”; grandson, Keith Shultis; two brothers, Kenneth and Raymond Dunbar.

A visitation for Blondie will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield and on Monday, August 24 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral service for Blondie will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield with Pastor Terry Temanson officiating.  A graveside service will follow the funeral on Monday at 12:15 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Wautoma.  A lunch will be held following the cemetery at the Richford Community Center.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
