Allen Breheim

Allen F. Breheim, age 88 of Westfield, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Montello Care Center. He was born on June 6, 1924 in Marshfield, son of the late Ernest and Blanche (Runnels) Breheim. Allen married Darlene Pischer on September 23, 1946 in Marshfield, she preceded him in death on September 16, 2009. He worked at Weyerhauser of Marshfield for 37 years. Allen was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Montello, Tello-Tones Singing Group and St. John’s/Emmanuel Men’s Breakfast and Bible Club. In his earlier years he was active in 4-H. Allen enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, canning and especially the life he had with Darlene.

Survivors include his sister, Nadine Weichelt, Milltown, WI; brother, Karl (Carolyn) Breheim, AL; sister in law, Eloise Schwantes, Spencer, WI; brother in law, Veikko Reinikainen, King, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Allen was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Reinikainen and brother, Ronald Breheim.

A funeral service for Allen will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Montello with Rev. Peter D. Zietlow officiating. Burial will be in Riverside “Lawrence Lake” Cemetery, Town of Westfield. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Memorials would be appreciated to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Montello.
